Organized by the Hungarian Rett Syndrome Foundation, the concert took place on April 29, in the Atrium Theatre in Budapest.
Very professionally organized by Edinger Katalin and Szucs Alexandra, two moms and board members of our small but very active Foundation, it attracted a lot of attention in the social media and on TV.
Five very talented young female singers were on the stage for our Rett ladies: Jonas Vera, Csemer Boglarka, Biro Eszter, Patkai Rozina and Palya Bea. An actor and actress presented a story about a Rett journey of a fictive family. The final text was written from the stories some families wrote for this occasion. Alexandra collected all the stories and wrote one that was very well incorporated in the whole concert in which the siblings also had their role.
From the beginning of the concert the photos of Rett girls taken by Kustos Niki were projected on the big screen.
This concert was, together with our last year’s Closer Photo Auction, a part of a P’ART, our Art programme founded to support our PART programme for support and help of the affected families.
The whole event was recorded by professional cameras and we plan to use it to make a film.
